We’ve been told that style is about following a set of rules, but the truth is far more radical: The most “cool” thing you can wear is an outfit that wasn’t approved by anyone else.

As I reflect on the things that were, are, and will come, this is what I know for sure:

Show up as the person you want to be exactly as you are right now.
Release all judgements – especially of yourself.
Never give away your peace.
Comparison is the thief of gratitude.
Lean in.
Find beauty in the imperfection.
Know things will never be the same and it’s okay.
If it feels wrong, say no.
Embrace divine detours.
Be gentle with yourself.
The answer you’re looking for will always be found within. Trust yourself enough to follow your knowing.
Get out of your comfort zone.
Never speak badly about yourself; especially to yourself.
While you’re at it, never speak badly of another.
Let go of what you can’t control.
